On 27th April 2017, a briefing and demonstration of the prototype Latihan Maya Kejayaan Kerjaya OKU was held at Seminar Room, Rehabilitation Department, Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor. The session was attended by 10 staff from Rehabilitation Department, Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor, including medical doctors and physiotherapist. Besides explaining about the importance of the virtual training module, the team which led by Associates Major (CD) Dr. Nor Wahiza Abdul Wahat, Head of Youth Citizenship and Leadership Laboratory, also obtained feedbacks and opinions on how to improve the prototype.
Latihan Maya Kejayaan Kerjaya OKU is a prototype that was developed from the findings of the research project entitled Assessing Online Training on Career Success of People with Disabilities. It is a software to empower emotions and positive thinking among people with disabilities. This prototype is the first motivational software developed in Malaysia. The virtual training consists of four modules; 1) Self-acceptance, 2) Love Yourself, 3) The Importance of Training and, 4) Subjective Career Success.
