8th October 2024 - ISTAC-IIUM is honoured to host the 6th Distinguished Lecture Series on Youth Wellbeing - a lecture series collaborated with IPSAS, UPM since 2022. This sixth event was held at ISTAC-IIUM. The lecture  was delivered by YBhg Dato' Seri Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang, the Secretary General of Ministry of Higher Education on Youth and Environmental Education: Nurturing Value-Driven Mindset. Over 200 participants from IIUM, UPM, other universities and NGOs attended the lecture and dialogue on the same topic moderated by Associate Prof Dr Ahmad El-Muhammady.

 Two books written by Associate Prof. Dr. Haliza Abdul Rahman, Head of Laboratory IPSAS entitled Persekitaran, Kesihatan dan Kesejahteraan Warga Bandar and Pendekatan Sains Sosial dalam Pengurusan Alam Sekitar was launched by YBhg. Dato'. In addition, a joint study between IPSAS, UPM and ISTAC, IIUM titled Wellbeing of Muslim Youth in Selangor was also launched during the event.
