IPSAS research program is called Youth Development where it focuses on the process of enhancing youth development from the perspective of citizenship and leadership, well-being and social health, and technology. Yes. Researchers or students who wish to conduct research at IPSAS are required to submit a formal application together with a research proposal for consideration by the management, in accordance with the established procedures. Currently, IPSAS offers four (4) fields of study, which are (i) Community Education and Development, (ii) Rural Advancement, (iii) Leadership Studies, and (iv) Youth Studies.
For Master, the minimum semester is 4 semesters (2 years) and it goes up to a maximum of 6 semesters (3 years). Meanwhile for PhD, the minimum semester is 6 semesters (3 years) and a maximum of 10 semesters (5 years). For further information please refer to www.sgs.upm.edu.my

Yes. IPSAS postgraduate programmes are open to both local and international students who meet the admission requirements stipulated by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
IPSAS provides a conducive and comfortable learning environment to support the academic success of postgraduate students. Facilities include a Postgraduate Room, Wi-Fi access, and the IPSAS Resource Centre, which houses a collection of books, research reports, theses, and reference materials related to the social sciences, with borrowing services available for books and theses. IPSAS also provides a Reading Corner, which offers a comfortable and conducive space for reading, as well as a pantry and dining area equipped with a water dispenser and dining tables.
IPSAS is a research centre in social science studies that focus on youth development and community issues. The institute also offers post-graduate programs at Master and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) levels. Apart from that, the institute also provides training related to data analysis in both quantitative and qualitative.
