22 July 2025 - The IPSAS Emergency Response Team (ERT) has conducted a building evacuation exercise as a measure to test the functioning of the building system as well as the level of preparedness of residents to face emergencies such as fires. This training was monitored by the Bantu Mula Unit, Office of Occupational Safety and Health Management (OSH), UPM and was successfully implemented with an evacuation period of less than five minutes. This initiative is part of the responsibility of the IPSAS Occupational Safety and Health Committee in ensuring that the ERT team is always ready and trained to act quickly and provide emergency assistance when needed. This training was also attended by the Director of IPSAS, Prof. Dr. Haslinda Abdullah, who showed high commitment of the management to workplace safety. ERT expresses its highest appreciation to all IPSAS staff for their participation and solid commitment in making this training session a success.
