3 April 2024 - IPSAS paid a courtesy visit to NIOSH in Bangi, Selangor. The discussion was chaired by Maj. Hj. Hanif Maidin, Executive Secretary and IPSAS was attended by the Director, Prof. Dr. Haslinda Abdullah, Deputy Director, Dr. Jeffrey Lawrence, Head of Laboratory, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haliza Abdul Rahman, Dr. Syafila Kamarudin and Senior Assistant Registrar, Mrs. Nurul Akhtar Kamarudin. The discussion focused on research topics proposed to NIOSH. NIOSH is very satisfied and interested in some of the study recommendations given. Hopefully, the IPSAS-NIOSH collaboration and this study can have an impact on occupational safety and health in Malaysia in particular.
