On February 5, 2024, the Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS), UPM, conducted a visit to the State Islamic University Hidayatullah Sharif (UIN), Tangerang, South Jakarta. The visit was attended by the IPSAS Director, Head of the Youth Leadership and Citizenship Lab, Research Associate, and IPSAS Research Officer, and was warmly welcomed by Professor Maila Dinia Husni, the Head of the International Cooperation Service Center at UIN with several other lecturers.

In this visit session, UIN expressed their interest in collaborating with IPSAS, UPM, in publishing activities, research, skill enhancement training for UIN support staff, and organizing webinars. The IPSAS delegation also provided an explanation of IPSAS's role as a leading social science research institution at UPM and welcomed UIN's desire to collaborate. This collaboration will be implemented after UIN obtains approval from its senior management in the near future.
