UPM SERDANG, 4 September 2023 - First meeting between Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) and Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS) UPM.IPSAS will be involved in a research project titled Resident Pass–Talent Retiree sponsored by Talent Corp.The purpose of this research is to gauge and identify the interests of expatriates working and continuing to reside in Malaysia.In addition also to determine what kind of facilities Talent Corp can provide to assist these Residence Pass-Talentholders.

The meeting was represented by Puan Syaheeda Hasbullah and Encik Shakirin Mohd Fauzi from TalentCorp. IPSAS was represented by Project Leader Dr Jeffrey Lawrence D'Silva, Assoc Prof Dr Ts Zairul Mohd Noor and Mr Zaifu Ariffin. Discussion topics revolved around Project Timeline, Reporting Mechanism, Survey Questions and Finance The meeting, which lasted about 1 hour, concluded with the handing over of IPSAS souvenirs to Puan Syaheeda Hasbullah Deputy Vice President of Talent Corporation  by  Assoc Prof Dr Ts Zairul Mohd Noor.
