Serdang 25th May - Social Science Studies Institute (SSSI), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has held a Performance Appraisal Briefing on 18 May 2021 online. A briefing was given by Puan Siti Ima Munira Ahmad, Head of Remuneration and Performance Section, Human Resource Services Division, Registrar's Office.
The purpose of this briefing was to provide a clearer understanding of the importance and role of Performance Appraisal in the performance of officers and staff on an annual basis. The objectives of the Appraisal System focus on development to identify strengths and weaknesses for the purpose of performance improvement as well as considerations to evaluate achievements for reward purposes
This briefing was attended by all Research Officers and Staff of SSSI. At the end of the briefing, it is hoped that all research officers and staff better understand what actions need to be done and better know the weighting of annual work targets in their respective performance appraisal systems.
