From 18-21 July 2024, IPSAS conducted a working visit to Hatyai, Thailand. IPSAS has paid a courtesy visit to two prominent universities in Hatyai, namely Prince Songkla University (PSU) and Thaksin University (TSU). As a result of the meeting with the two universities, IPSAS will collaborate in joint research, publications and programmes. PSU and TSU are very interested in collaborating with IPSAS and hopefully this relationship will be continued and utilized by both parties.

The IPSAS delegation also have a chance to visit tourist attractions in Hatyai such as the Floating Market, Lee Garden, Bee Garden, Asean Night Market and Songkla Grand Mosque. In addition to building cooperation between universities, IPSAS delegates were also able to learn about the culture of society as well as work ethics in Thailand. There are many things that can be used as examples, for instance Thailand society is very creative in food and agricultural innovation.
