November 11, 2024 - The Malaysian Youth Development Academy, Port Dickson under the National Department of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the think tank group of Institute of Social Science Studies (IPSAS) and the Faculty of Education Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has successfully organized the 2024 Youth Work Professionalism Symposium. This 2-day event was held at Palm Hotel Seremban. The opening ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Puan Azura Abidin, Director General of the National Youth and Sports Department.

This symposium aims to produce a concrete resolution towards upholding the professionalism of youth work in Malaysia. The symposium resolution was presented on the last day of the symposium by YBrs. Prof. Dr. Ismi Arif Ismail, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), UPM as a representative of the UPM think tank who acted as the collaborator in organizing the symposium.
