DISTINGUISHED LECTURE SERIES 5

2 May 2024 | Engineer Radin Umar Auditorium, Faculty of Engineering, UPM - IPSAS in collaboration with the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC-IIUM) and the Darul Ehsan Institute (IDE) has organized the 5th Distinguished Lecture Series on Youth Wellbeing with the theme of Cultivating Empathy & Compassion through Education for Youth Wellbeing.

The lecture series was presented by Yang Berhormat Puan Fadhlina Sidek, Minister of Education Malaysia. A total of more than 200 participants participated in this lecture series consisting of university students, teachers, lecturers and government agencies, the private sector and NGOs.

Yang Berhormat has presented this topic very well and emphasized the importance of educational institutions as well as the role of teachers and parents in shaping young people today.

The Program ended with the launch of two books, When Love Heals Hate by Dr. Murni Wan Mohd Nor and Komik Sukan Bersih by IPSAS research group led by Dr. Zeinab Zarebmohzabieh. Both of these books are suitable as reading material for young people because they are short and interesting.
