UPM SERDANG, 22-24 August 2023 - The Institute of Social Science Studies organized a workshop on ENHANCING METHODOLOGY ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION INDICATORS for the Malaysian Science and Technology Information Center (MASTIC) officers. A total of 20 participants participated in this workshop and it was conducted by Dr. Jeffrey Lawrence D'Silva and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Zairul Mohd Noor, and assisted by Nurshazwani Ghazali, Hairi Ahmad and Zulshafiq Amir Hamzah.

The main goal of this workshop is to increase the understanding of MASTIC officers to research methodology so that MASTIC research can be improved in quality in the future. At this workshop, the participants were exposed on how to use AI technology to facilitate the research process in addition to knowledge related to the Nominal Group Technique. This workshop is a catalyst for closer research collaboration in the future where IPSAS researchers will collaborate with MASTIC researchers to implement various projects related to science, technology, and innovation.
